「歯医者の予約」と入力すると 🦷 🪥 🏥 🩺 が返り、「請求書の支払い」と入力すると 💰 💳 🧾 が返ります。Emo は、作文の書き方ではなく、タスクリストやチャットでの人の書き方に合わせて調整されており、どの候補にも肌の色のバリエーションが付きます。
ピッカーは一覧を並べて選ばせます。Emo はテキストを読み取り、予測変換キーボードが次の単語を示すように、合う絵文字を提示します。キー入力のたびに実行できるほど小さく速く、サーバーを呼ぶことは一度もありません。
提案は 2 ms 未満。
5MB の Core ML モデルによる、22 言語にわたる 2 ms 未満の提案。
社内測定値。絵文字の意味付けは近似的なため、ランキング上位での僅差は想定内です。

入力しているそばから提案する
予測変換キーボードが単語を出すように、ユーザーがまだ打っている最中に、候補バーへ絵文字を並べます。処理はデバイス上で、ネットワークとのやり取りはありません。
予定を作ったその場でラベルを付ける
短い入力に合わせて調整されています。「歯医者の予約」には 🦷 🪥 🏥 🩺 が付くので、カレンダーやタスクアプリは、保存された瞬間に項目へラベルを付けられます。
書きかけのメッセージに絵文字を
メッセージを書いているそばから、22 言語のいずれでも、合う絵文字を提案します。下書きをどこかへ送ることはありません。
ピッカーはそのまま、提案を足す
Emo がキーボード上の候補欄を埋めるので、目当てが決まっているユーザーは今までどおり一覧から探せ、そうでないユーザーは最初に合う絵文字を受け取れます。
